November is already here and that means if you are storing your RV for the winter, you should be in the process of, or already winterized your RV for winter storage. The major reason to winterize your RV is to protect the RV water system from potential damages caused from frozen pipe lines.
Today we are answering common questions about winterization:
"If I don't winterize my RV, what type of damages will I run into?"
Some RV'ers aren't aware of the extreme damages and the potentially high costs to repair the frozen components of your RV, When not winterizing you are risking damaging:

"When should I winterize my RV?"
- Ideally you should winterize your RV before the first freeze. When overnight temperatures reach 32 degrees or below, you should of already winterized your RV.
"If I am living in my RV full time, will I have to winterize my RV?"
-Winterizing your rig is necessary if you live in a cold area and you are storing your RV outside or in a non-heated area, If you are a full-time RV'er it is not necessary to winterize your RV as long as you are keeping your RV heated. For example, having the furnace on or are using a heated water hose will help prevent frozen pipes.

"How will I know if the pipe lines in my RV are frozen or damaged?"
- The biggest indicator that the pipes are frozen on your rig is that you have no running water in your RV, another sign of frozen pipes are only light trickles of water coming out of your faucets.
